We recently hired James Madden to do a remodel of our Victorian home. The work was a 4-month project, which included some structural work, new floors, complete kitchen and bathroom remodel an entire new electrical system and many more details.I couldn't imagine anyone better to work with than James. He personally worked on-site each day, talked to us about all of our little concerns to major details. He worked from architectural plans and also co-ordinated with our cabinet-maker.We did a few minor change orders along the way and he accommodated our requests, while still sticking to the timeline. His own expertise is in framing and carpentry work, and he brought in specialists to do drywall, electrical, plumbing, painting and other tasks.And 4 months later, the job was *done*. I first hired Madden Construction to remodel a bathroom. Everything was done to perfection. I then hired Madden to remodel a basement into an apartment unit and he was on budget, on-time, and all the little details were done great. This involved a new foundation, electrical, plumbing and concrete work. Whenever a 3rd party was used to make things - like the sliding door hardware or the light fixtures, James patiently worked with the craftsmen to make sure it all came together. Then, a few years later, James remodeled our kitchen with new cabinet doors, counters, and floors. Lastly, James installed a new kitchenette in our downstairs unit.
